Arsenal are keeping an eye on Bayern Munich winger, Leroy Sane, and his new contract talks, according to Sky in Germany.
The 28-year-old is in talks about extending his deal at Bayern beyond its current 2025 expiry and he is understood to prefer to remain at the club.
However, the forward played for Manchester City while Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was assistant coach there to Pep Guardiola.
They have a “great” relationship, according to Sky in Germany, and Sane praised Arteta as recently as April in an interview.
He said: “Thanks to him and his ideas, I improved quickly. I still have them in my head and try to implement them in games.
