Sola Ogudugu, the first babymama of award-winning singer, Wizkid, has revealed one of her secrets to handling haters.
Taking to her Instagram page, Sola stated that she does what works for her as she noted how she doesn’t bother a soul, compare, copy, or watch anyone.
She stated that she doesn’t care about anyone’s perception of her as she genuinely supports others unless when they show her they are not deserving of it. The single mother of one noted how she is always in her lane, riding her wave and with her eyes on her prize.
“My secret is, I do what works for ME. I don’t bother a soul, I don’t compare, I don’t copy, I don’t watch, and I couldn’t care less about anyone’s perception of me.
I genuinely support others unless you show me you’re not deserving. I’m always in my OWN lane. Riding my own wave. With my eyes on my own prize”.
In May, Sola had proudly celebrated their son, Boluwatife, as he turned 13. Describing it as a special day, she thanked her Maker as she rained prayers on him. The excited mum noted how she is now a mother to a teenager.
Last year, Sola received praise for her motherly role to her son following his mature behaviour and humility at his father’s mother’s burial. Boluwatife won the hearts of many with his close love and display of affection for his half-siblings, which earned his mother praises for training him well.
On Mother’s Day, Boluwatife brought her to tears as he rained prayers on her. Sola shared the heartfelt message on her Instagram story as she stated that there was no greater feeling than that as she said Amen to his prayers.
It is unarguably that Sola Ogudugu deserved the outpour of love and praise, as the single mother of one has played the role of a father and mother in her son’s life over the years. While Wizkid constantly misses out on his son’s school activities, Sola Ogudugu always ensures she is present on all his occasions, cheering him on.
