Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, has expressed pride in singer Rema.
Taking to her Instagram story to share photos of her and the Mavins singer, she questioned where she should start when talking about his achievements. She noted how he has the most streamed African song, made history as the youngest African artist to have a song chart on the Billboard Hot 100, and topped the Global Shazam Charts.
Cuppy stated that she could go on and on as she prayed for God to continue enlarging his coast.
“So proud of you @heisrema.
Where do I even start?
Most Streamed African song, made history as the youngest African artist to have a song chart on the Billboard Hot 100, topped Global Shazam Charts. I could go on…and on…
May God continue to enlarge your coast, my brother!”.
Last year, Cuppy stirred reactions as she revealed her desire to become Asake’s backup singer after linking up with him at an event. The popular DJ shared with her Twitter fans her playful aspiration of becoming Asake’s full-time backup singer.
In other news, DJ Cuppy sent a quick PSA to Nigerians as she cried out over being misunderstood. She expressed that Nigerians do not understand her personality and her humour. She also longed for people to understand her for who she was one day.
At the beginning of the year, Cuppy announced her six major plans for 2024. She wanted to be her softest, healthiest, prettiest, and most successful version and shared that she was also taking the gym seriously.
In a later post, she took to the X platform to reveal how 2024 was going for her so far, as she remarked that it’s only been a quarter of the year; 2024 has been her best year yet.
