Nollywood actress and filmmaker Uche Jombo has been left heartbroken after losing her younger sister.
Kemi Filani reported a day back that the movie star hinted at losing a loved one after sharing a black photo, admonishing her followers to hold their loved ones close as she expressed heartbreak over life.
Now, shedding more light on it, Uche revealed that she had lost her younger sister. According to her, the day her vacation ended, which was on Saturday, turned out to be the worst day of her life. She disclosed that she has been a wreck, as grieving someone dear to her wasn’t in her 2024 cards, but she can’t question God.
“My vacation ended on Saturday, which turned out to be the worst day of my life. I lost my younger sister and have been a wreck; grieving someone this close wasn’t in my 2024 cards, but we can not ask God questions”.

Similarly, actress Mercy Aigbe mourned the demise of prominent television presenter, actress, fashion designer and singer Lara Odubo, who died on Saturday, July 28th, 2024. The sad news was made known by blogger Temilola Sobola. Though the cause of her death is unknown, reports claimed that the entertainer had been ill for some days before her passing.
Taking to her Instagram page to mourn her, Mercy Aigbe, who seemed to have been close to her, expressed sadness over her death as she stated that she was still in denial over the news.
Last year, Uche Jombo took time to reflect on her past as she celebrated International Women’s Day. The mother of one revealed that she had fought a thousand battles, cried a thousand tears, being broken, betrayed, abandoned, and rejected but was still standing strong. She praised herself for still walking proud, laughing, living without fear and loving without doubt.
