Nollywood actress Esther Nwachukwu has called out her colleague, Frederick Leonard, over their late colleague, Junior Pope’s death.
In a video posted on her Instagram page, Esther noted how Junior Pope and his wife attended the actor’s wedding to his wife and colleague, Peggy Ovire, in 2022. Yet, he didn’t reciprocate the love when Junior Pope died.
She noted how the actor didn’t attend Junior Pope’s funeral nor publicly mourn him or sympathise with his family. Esther further claimed that Frederick Leonard isn’t who people really think he is, as she accused the actor of jealousy.
“I am calling out Frederick Leonard. I want to know when Junior Pope was alive, he and his wife attended Frederick Leonard’s wedding with happiness. Now, Junior Pope is dead, Frederick didn’t attend his burial, nor did he sympathise with his family or post.
You see, Frederick Leonard isn’t who you all really think he is. That guy’s mind is filled with jealousy. As they saw that Junior Pope was outshining them, jealousy set in”.
On July 1st, Esther Nwachukwu mercilessly dragged Jennifer Awele, the widow of Junior Pope, after she attended Regina Daniels sons’ birthday party.
Esther slammed the late actor’s wife for taking jobs while still mourning her husband. She questioned what she was looking for outside as she stated that the mother of three should be indoors mourning her husband for 6 months to a year. She noted how the widow isn’t broke because people contributed enough money for her and her children.
Refreshing your memory, Junior Pope lost his life after drowning at Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a movie set on April 8th. The actor was laid to rest amidst tears in his hometown in Ukehe, Enugu State, in May.
