Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has penned a heartfelt note to veteran actor, Olu Jacobs following the death rumours that circulated about him.
Kemi Filani reported on Sunday evening that one Oba K Solo had alleged that the veteran, aged 82, had passed away. The actor’s family had debunked the news with a video of the veteran getting a haircut from someone, and it was clear that he’s hale and hearty.
Taking to his Instagram page, Yul prayed for more life for the veteran as he asked God to give him more life, good health, joy, happiness and blessings. Yul described the veteran as one of the greatest actors in the continent of Africa and revealed that he learnt so much from him while working with him on set.
Noting how the veteran is loved, respected and appreciated, he expressed desire to work with him once again on set.
“More life to you Uncle @_olujacobs
You remain one of the greatest actors in the continent of Africa.
I learnt so much from you while working with you on set.
You’re loved, respected and appreciated.
May God give you more life, good health, joy, happiness and blessings.
It would be a dream come true to have you on set again.
Amen”.
This isn’t the first time Yul Edochie has written a message to him. In 2022, when Olu Jacobs turned 80, Yul Edochie had joined many celebrities in eulogising him, as he noted how his biggest wish was to be on set with the legendary actor and he finally got the opportunity many times and he learnt so much from him.
Months back, Yul had spoken out about his life-changing experience with Charles Inojie, revealing the level of impact he had played in his movie career. Yul praised him for always being so cool and nice to everyone and credited him for playing a role in his career path.
In other news, Yul had admonished award-winning singer, Davido not to quit music, after he promised to quit the industry after his next album so his haters can have peace. He amonished him not to give room for trolls as he noted how they always troll great people who are steadily making headlines.
