Nollywood actress Bola Omotosho has recounted the good deeds of her colleague, Kemi Korede, at her birthday dinner.
Kemi Filani reported on Monday that Kemi Korede turned a new age and had penned a note to her Maker, appreciating him for being mindful of her. She thanked Him for another brand new year, for his unconditional love, amazing grace, goodness, kindness, strength, peace, joy, answered prayers, bad times, unanswered prayers and lots more.
To celebrate her day, Kemi Korede held a birthday dinner which had in attendance some of her colleagues like Omowunmi Ajiboye, Bola Omotosho, Bisola Badmus, Toyin Alausa, Damola Olatunji, Regina Chukwu, Jide Awobona, and a host of others.
Everyone took turns to give a speech about the celebrant, but Bola Omotosho’s speech stood out as she recounted how the movie star stood by her during her Ceasarian operation. According to her, Kemi Korede was on Video Call with her throughout the operation and constantly called her husband and others to check up on her.
She noted how the Yoruba actress stood by her during her wedding and her child’s naming ceremony. She stated that Kemi’s love for her had transferred to her child.
“When I wanted to give birth, she was with me. I had a crisis when I wanted to give birth, and she was with me. She was on Video Call with me as I did my CS. Even when the operation was taking time, she was disturbing my husband and everyone to know how far, but they assured her that all would be well.
When we were having a wedding, she was also there. She spent so much money. Even at my child’s naming ceremony, many mistook her for the child’s mother.
The love she has for me she has transferred it to my child”.

Kemi, while in Mecca on the Holy pilgrimage, had made it her duty to pray for her colleagues and fans. Impressed by her selfless personality, Toyin Alausa praised her as she appreciated Kemi for being so amazing and selfless.
She had also won the hearts of many of her fans as she fervently prayed for one of her junior colleagues, Bukola Omogeikale after she acquired a car and took it to her for blessings.
Last year, a day before her birthday, her inner circle had treated her to a surprise birthday gift. The video captured Kemi Korede in her glam chair preparing for her birthday photoshoot as her favourite make-up artiste surprised her with several gifts. In her caption, Kemi Korede appreciated her for the sweet gesture as she counted down to her big day.
