“I became a whole new person” – Singer Victony speaks on his perspective towards life after he had a ghastly car accident

In a recent interview with Kim Oprah and another host, singer Victony was asked about how the car accident he got involved in 2021 occurred.

Kim Oprah made sure to ask Victony if he was comfortable with talking about the incident, and he replied in the affirmative.

Victony said that on the day the accident occurred, it was his first night out in Lagos, and himself, alongside some friends were attending Oxlade’s birthday party.

On their way back from the party, Victony said he was asleep when the accident occurred, so he didn’t know how it happened, but he went unconscious.

Victony said that after the accident, his perspective on life changed, and he literally became a new person.

He mentioned that his style of music changed, and how he wrote his songs also changed due to his switch in perspective.

In another clip from the interview, Victony was asked about artists that he would want to work with in the future, and he mentioned Burnaboy. He has worked on at least two songs with Burnaboy already, and they were all successful.

Victony has had quite an interesting career trajectory, as it skyrocketed after his car accident.

The car accident in 2021 left Victony on a wheelchair and unable to walk for months, before he started using a walking cane.

One of the core moments from Victony being on a wheelchair was when Davido brought him on stage during a concert, and after he sang some Christian songs, Victony stood up from his wheelchair like a miracle had just occurred.

Even on a wheelchair, Victony still managed to release hot songs back to back that has helped to solidify his place in the music industry.
